Four magical new Squishmallows dropped on Amazon and will be officially available on Sept. 16. These 10-inch soft toys are all based on different characters from the Harry Potter franchise: Dobby the house elf, The Sorting Hat, Dumbledore’s magic phoenix Fawkes, and one of Professor Sprout’s Mandrakes. Our inner wizards are screaming at the cuteness of these sweet, cuddly plushies!
The details on these Squishmallows are everything. Dobby is light pink with a wrinkled forehead and floppy ears, just like in the film. The Sorting Hat has a snarky smile and crinkled eyes, clearly thinking about where to place the next witch or wizard that makes it to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Then you have Fawkes the phoenix, a magical little bird that rebirths itself through the ashes, and looks so cute with its red body, yellow face, and colorful stomach. (It even has a little red tail on the back.)
Finally, there is a mandrake — you know, one of the plants from Herbology that makes an awful shrieking noise when it’s uprooted from its soil. This mandrake is happy as a clam in its little “pot” with green leaves sticking out of the roots on top of his head and a small smile on his lips. Good thing it can’t be uprooted as its brown pot is part of him. Otherwise, you might just hear an ear-splitting screech!
Even Muggles will appreciate the adorableness of these precious toys.
