What We’re Tracking
An EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING has been issued for the entire viewing area through Thursday.
Mostly clear to partly cloudy and a bit breezy overnight with south wind around 10mph. Overnight low temperatures will dip back into the lower 80s for a warm start to Wednesday.
After topping out in the lower 100s for Wednesday afternoon with gusty southwest wind once again, we'll watch a weak cold front push through the area Wednesday evening. That front could spark up our next rain chance. Storms will initialize along the boundary and some of the some storms may be strong to severe. Damaging wind would be the main threat.
After that front, temperatures will settle back into the middle 90s for the tail end of the week before heating up again early next week.
