Simone Biles is making Olympic history following Team USA’s gold medal win during the Women’s Gymnastics Team Final!
Simone and teammates Hezly Rivera, Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, and Suni Lee won the gold during the team final on Tuesday evening (July 30) in Paris, France.
The team received a final score of 171.296, coming ahead of Italy and Brazil. The team took second place during the 2021 Tokyo Games and they’ve reclaimed their spot as champions this time around!
Simone is now the most decorated U.S. gymnast of all time with eight medals overall, beating Shannon Miller‘s previous record. She still has a chance at more medals this year and can extend her record even further.
