TOMORROW marks the start of the return of McDonald’s £3 meal deal.
Fast-food fans across the UK and Ireland can nab three items for a tiny £3, working out at just £1 a dish.
You can get your hands on some cheap goodies at McDonald’s from tomorrow[/caption]The cheap and cheerful offer is coming back with tonnes of bestsellers – with the exception of one fan favourite.
McDonald’s decadent McFlurry will unfortunately not be a part of the offer.
Those hoping to cool down on a summer day will have to fork out for the ice cream dessert in addition to the £3 bargains.
But when the ‘elite’ deal was last running, between May 22 and June 10, customers could pick a miniature McFlurry as part of the offering.
Sweet-toothed fans will instead be able to opt for the iconic apple pie – the only dessert option on the menu.
Gutted fans of the soft serve frozen dessert on X are sad that the “really good” ice cream will not make an appearance on menus.
They hope that the next deal implements the “yummy treat”.
There are still a staggering 100 possible combinations that you can create with the dishes on offer.
For instance, the biggest saving you can make is if you buy three apple pies which normally would cost you £5.67.
And if you don’t fancy the same dish, the next best savings are from ordering an Apple Pie, small fries, cheeseburger or Mayo Chicken.
This would usually set you back £4.97, so you’ll save £1.97.
But bargain hunters will need to be quick as the deal is running for only four weeks.
The following eight options in the deal (and their usual cost):
Be warned that your savings will also depend on the location as prices vary by area .
It’s also worth noting that if you’re ordering for McDelivery using the Maccies app, that this deal will cost you £4 instead of £3.
This comes after a Channel 5 investigation found back in 2018 that Maccies customers were being cheated.
Researchers for consumer show Shop Smart, Save Money bought six McFlurries in Regular and Mini sizes from different branches and concluded that five out of six regular McFlurries were under-filled.
A McDonald’s spokesman said that customers should talk to a member of staff if they feel like their McFlurry has been under-filled.
But the beloved McFlurry will not be part of the deal[/caption]
