BOSTON, Massachusetts: Steward Health Care announced it will close two Massachusetts hospitals, Carney Hospital in Boston and Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer, after failing to receive qualified bids for the facilities.
The closures are scheduled to occur on or around August 31.
