A SHOPPING fan was excited to get a beautiful gown she ordered online, but all she could do was laugh when she saw the dress that actually showed up at her door.
Not only did the style look nothing like what was shown in the photo, but it was so bad that other women were shocked by the not-so-luxe item that arrived in its place.
TikTok Evita had a shopping fail when the dress she ordered above looked bothing like what was advertised when it arrived[/caption]Fashionista Evita (@eviitaa_x) likes to make comedic videos showing what expensive dresses look like when they arrive in the mail.
Not all of them look the same, but there was one gown that viewers couldn’t believe.
She shared in a viral TikTok video how what she ordered was definitely not what arrived.
When the video began, she showed the original garment that she ordered closeup on her phone.
“What I order versus what I got,” the on-screen text read.
The image showed a floor-length silver gown with a high assymetrical slit on the right side and a see-through train in the back.
The sequins and diamond details were accentuated by the plunging sweetheart neckline and one shoulder sleeve.
Although it was a beautiful dress, it was definitely not what Evita expected to receive.
“Literally nothing could have prepared me for what you actually received because WHAT???” a TikTok user commented.
When she pulled back the camera to reveal it, she couldn’t help but laugh.
The TikToker struck a pose with a hand on her hip as she held the phone close to her body to show a direct comparison.
Instead of a breathtaking garment with multiple layers, she wore what resmbled a white sheet with a drawing of a dress on it.
The sheet-like fabric did nothing to accentuate her body shape the way the original dress did.
It was a shade of light pink that was different from what was advertised and black, white, and gray pixelated dots were added on top.
The side slit was also so high that it went into her private area and she had to wear white biker shorts in the video to cover herself up as she showed viewers.
The camera also came closer to show that there was even drawn on flesh to resemble skin around the chest area and arm.
“That is crazy. The skin inserts! Best one ever!” another TikToker commented.
It looked more like a Halloween costume than a designer dress.
Viewers could not help but offer their two cents about the blunder.
“It’s like they sent you a drawing of the picture of the dress,” one wrote.
“I hope this was a REAAAL BIG DEAL… I wanna know the price,” another inquired.
“A lot more than you would expect,” she replied.
Others found the situation funny.
“It’s literally the same. I don’t get it,” someone joked.
“How did you know the difference?” another added.
Women exclaimed online that ‘Literally nothing could have prepared” them for how it looks not even close to the photo[/caption]
