COLONIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Italian restaurant chain Buca di Beppo has closed the doors to its Colonie location. A statement from Buca di Beppo sent to NEWS10 confirmed the closure.
"After being part of this community for 24 years, regrettably, Buca di Beppo in Albany has closed," said the statement. "We thank our customers for their loyalty — it was our privilege to be the backdrop for countless gatherings and celebrations over the past two decades."
Buca di Beppo was located at 44 Wolf Road. A reason for or date of the closure was not given, but the hours listed on the Facebook page of Buca di Beppo's Colonie location were changed to permanently closed on Sunday.
Buca di Beppo, founded in 1993, is known for its Italian family-style dining. The Wolf Road location was the chain's last restaurant in New York.
