BRIDGERTON star Simone Ashley looked incredible as she stripped down to a bikini to catch some summer sun.
The actress, 29, who plays Lord Anthony Bridgerton’s love interest Kate Sharma in the Netflix period drama, wowed by the lake in a very picturesque setting.
Surrounded by green hills and underneath blue skies, Simone relaxed on a towel and tackled crossword puzzles.
Back on her feet she cuddled her fluffy her pet pooch and led it towards the water to cool off.
Her skin glistened in the sunshine as did her beaded black swimwear and raven hair.
Earlier this summer Simone opened up to Vogue about how she keeps in such great shape.
She said: “I swear by reformer Pilates — I was introduced to it a few years ago —and I’m a massive runner, I run all the time.
“It’s a very mindful and thoughtful exercise— sometimes it’s the minimal movements that are the most powerful. For women, it’s great because it connects you to your pelvic floor, plus it gives you a full awareness of your body.
“Whenever I’ve got lots of press coming up, or a red carpet, if I work out lots I feel less depressed and generally happier. And I feel like the best version of myself.”
It’s been two years since Simone made her debut in Bridgerton, catapulting her to global stardom.
The TV star relishes the lavish outfits she gets to wear and sang the praises of the wardrone team.
She said: “I love dressing up for Bridgerton. The show has been a very special experience in my life and it’s a job where I get to go to work and wear the most beautiful couture.
“It’s an honour to wear our costume designer, tailor, and seamstresses’ work. You step out feeling like a princess. The hair and makeup as well… Farida [Ghwedar] does my wigs for Bridgerton and they’re just so beautiful.”
Simone’s breakthrough role was as “cool girl” Olivia in Sex Education.
Olivia is one of ‘The Untouchables’ in the show’s fictional Moordale Secondary School.
Her casting was seen as a breakthrough for South Asian representation, and the show was a massive commercial hit that was nominated for two MTV Movie and TV Awards.
Simone told EWG: “When I read the script for Sex Education, I was so impressed and excited to see the high school setting take a slick spin and introduce a fresh approach to it, one that I could relate to and could see myself in.
“Being a romantic myself, I fell in love with the heartwarming relationships and encounters in the script, and the writing was just so brilliant.”

There’s drama and intrigue as the hunt for Lady Whistledown hots us, and laugh out loud comedy from the chaotic Featherington family.
But ultimately the season belongs to new romantic leads Colin and Penelope, whose will-they-won’t-they love story is fun, flirty and utterly believable and its, ahem, climax at the end of episode four will take your breath away.
