The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.

 

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session for the consideration of Executive Calendar #708, Stacey D. Neumann, of Maine, to be United States District Judge for the District of Maine.

 

At approx. 12:00pm amendment #3022 will be withdrawn and the Senate will vote on the motion to concur in the House amendment to S.2073 with amendment #3021 (KOSA/COPPA) without further intervening action or debate.

 

The Senate will then recess until 2:15pm to allow for weekly caucus meetings.

 

At approx. 2:30pm the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #708, Stacey D. Neumann, of Maine, to be United States District Judge for the District of Maine.  If cloture is invoked on the Neumann nomination, all post-cloture time will be considered expired at 4:15pm and the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nomination.

 

During Monday’s session cloture was filed on the following:

1. Executive Calendar #710 Meredith A. Vacca, of New York, to be United States District Judge for the Western District of New York
2. Executive Calendar #709 Joseph Francis Saporito, Jr., of Pennsylvania, to be United States District Judge for the Middle District of Pennsylvania
3. Executive Calendar #582 Dorothy Camille Shea, of North Carolina, a Career Member of the Senior Foreign Service, Class of Minister-Counselor, to be Deputy Representative of the United States of America to the United Nations, with the rank and status of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and the Deputy Representative of the United States of America in the Security Council of the United Nations
4. Motion to proceed to Cal. #349, H.R.7024, Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act of 2024
