New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh after the Indian duo defeated South Korea in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event to win a bronze medal at the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024. While it was Bhaker’s second medal in the competition, Singh redeemed himself after failing to qualify for one of his final events by a small margin.
Bhaker also became the first Indian after independence to claim two medals in a single Olympics, having already won the women’s 10m air pistol bronze. India defeated South Korea 16-10 in a tense match.
