CHERRY lovers rejoiced earlier today as Tango announced the return of the flavour that was axed in 2018.
The blogger behind Facebook food blog Newfoodsuk shared a snap of the fruity fizzy drink to over 380,000 followers.

More than 400 people liked the post, with many racing to their local Iceland to see if they stock the sugar-free Tango Cherry.
One Facebook user wrote: “I’ve had this! It tastes just like black cherry’s. HIGHLY recommend this one.”
Another hinted that they would “probably try this” flavour.
But one was less keen on the healthy twist: “I’ve got it chilling in the fridge but I’m scared to try it because sugar free drinks are never as good as the sugar versions!”
Another foodie was also left unimpressed with the return: “But its not though because original wasn’t sugar free!”
The good news comes after devastated shoppers started a Change.org petition to get it back in production.
Fans can nab a 500ml bottle for £1.99, or a 2L bottle £3.19, while a multipack of eight cans costs £5.29.
A Britvic spokesperson confirmed: “Gone are the days craving for a hint of Cherry flavour.
“Tango Cherry is here to remind you what real cherry tang should taste like. It’s bold, it’s invigorating, and it’s back.
“Why? Because we have the irresistible tangy punch that only Tango Cherry delivers.”
Asia Banger, Brand Manager at Tango, added: “We’ve heard our fans loud and clear. Tango Cherry is not just a drink; it’s a bold statement.
“We’re thrilled to bring back the tangy taste that people have been missing, and we promise, it’s better than ever.”
Earlier this year, Tango manufacturer Britvic launched a new mango flavour and it landed on shelves and chillers in February 1.
Available for 12 months, the fruit-flavoured fizzy drink is available to enjoy in formats to be consumed at home or on the go.
The flavour will be available in a variety of formats – 330ml cans, 500ml bottles, 2-litre bottles, 8-can multipacks and 24-can multipacks.
It advises retailers to sell single 330ml cans for 80p each and 500ml bottles for £1.99.
It recommends 2-litre bottles are sold at £3.19 and 8-can multipacks at £5.29.
Multipacks containing 24 cans have an MRSP of £12.49.
