The visiting side of Team India have already gained an unassailable 2-0 lead over hosts Sri Lanka in the three-match T20I series. New skipper Suryakumar Yadav will look to put the icing on the cake by completing a whitewash in his first series in charge as the T20I skipper as the two sides face off in the third and final T20I match at the Pallekele International Stadium in Kandy on Tuesday (July 30).
The Indian bowlers led by Arshdeep Singh and leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi have done well to restrict the home side in both the T20I matches, in spite of the Lankans getting off to a flying start in these matches. In the first T20I matches, the Lankans lost 9 wickets for 30 runs to lose by 43 runs while in the second match they only managed to score 31 runs in their last five overs while losing 7 wickets.
In the batting department, opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has shown tremendous intent in both the matches while skipper Suryakumar Yadav has been in fine form scoring a fifty and 12-ball 26 in the two games. It will be interesting to see if Team India will make any changes for the inconsequential match on Tuesday.
With the T20I series in the bag, @surya_14kumar will look to lead #TeamIndia to a series whitewash with another win
