A yellow weather warning is in place on Tuesday effective from 11am until 4pm.
The weather will be mostly clear with some increased clouds, mainly in the mountains. Temperatures will rise to 40C in the interior, 33C on the west coasts, 36C on the remaining coasts, and 32C in the higher mountains. Winds will be south-to north-westerly, light to moderate up to 4 Beaufort, turning moderate to strong in the afternoon, up to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be a slightly rough to rough.
Overnight will remain clear with transient increased low clouds on the coast. Temperatures will drop to 26C degrees in the interior and the coasts, and 21C in the higher mountains. Winds will be remain mainly south-to north-westerly, light to moderate, up to 4 Beaufort. The sea will gradually become calm to slightly rough.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are expected to continue clear with increased afternoon clouds bringing a chance of isolated rains, mainly in the mountains.
Temperatures remain at the same levels above average for the season.
