SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A Saratoga Springs man pleaded guilty on Monday to charges following a child sex abuse images investigation from 2023. Luke Fletcher, 42, pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony.
In August of 2023, New York State Police arrested Fletcher in his home. At that time, police said Fletcher had allegedly possessed images consistent with child sexual exploitation.
An investigation began after police received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. At the time of his arrest, he was issued an appearance ticket to return to the Saratoga Springs City Court.
After he pleaded to the charges on Monday, sentencing was scheduled. Fletcher is scheduled for sentencing on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 9:30 a.m.
