A MUM has revealed that she has been pregnant for 17 of the last 18 months.
Jacqueline Woodwell gave birth to her second child, a daughter named Emma, nine months ago.
Six weeks later, she became pregnant again, despite the fact that she and her partner had been using protection.
This means that she has only been not pregnant for one month in the last year and a half.
It is possible to get pregnant again just three weeks after giving birth, so you should always make sure to use contraception, unless you want to get pregnant again.
Taking to TikTok, Jacqueline revealed that Emma has just turned nine months old, meaning that she is two weeks away from giving birth to baby number three.
Because of their close proximity in age, Emma and her new sibling will be classed as Irish twins.
Babies born less than 12 months apart are known are Irish twins.
The term Irish twins was initially used as a derogatory term aimed at Irish-Catholics who emigrated to America.
As Catholics do not believe in contraception, Irish families were often large, with children born close together in age.
Jacqueline said she often gets people staring at her in the street when they see her carrying a tiny baby, with a pregnant belly.
However, she does not care about the judgement, and is excited for her family to grow.
Jacqueline’s video, which was posted under the username @jacquelinewoodwell, has likely left many open-mouthed, as it has racked up over 300,000 views on the video-sharing platform.
TikTok users raced to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts and many were left confused.
One person said: “Wait, you’ve been been pregnant for over a year?”
