Khloé Kardashian’s baby Tatum just turned 2 — and he had a dino-mite party! To celebrate her too-cute toddler, Kardashian hosted a “two-a-saurus” birthday party, and we are roaring over the lavish decorations.
Guests walked under a “Tatum Two-a-saurus” sign decorated with a multi-colored balloon arch to enter the party, according to videos posted to Kardashian’s Instagram story on Sunday. (Page Six has screenshots of the event HERE.) There were even life-sized dino statues on display!
“Look at Tatum’s birthday cake. Dinosaurs, how cute!” Khloé says in one video, showing a three-tiered round cake decorated with dinosaurs in birthday hats, dinos hatching from eggs, and a scaly number 2. There was also a snack bar with themed cookies, pudding cups, and candy eggs-in-baskets.
Many more dinosaur statues hung out in the backyard by the pool, with floating balloons suspended in the sky. There were palm-leaf floaties in the pool, little dinosaur taco holders and fruit cut like dinosaurs on the food table, and dinosaur-themed Stony Clover Lane bags for party favors.
Kids could play with dinosaur sensory bins, make dinosaur slime, or paint little dinosaur pictures at little wicker tables with straw-like umbrellas set up around the yard. Later, there was a huge dinosaur egg-shaped pinata to hit for candy. This party looks absolutely amazing!
The Good American founder shared several photos on her Instagram grid of Tatum, including one of him in dinosaur pajamas (because of course!); one of him with sunglasses, a green bucket hat, and a Ninja Turtles shirt; and some of him being silly with his older sister True, 6.
“How are you two years old already?!” The Kardashians star wrote in the lengthy caption, adding that she feels like she’s already spent “a lifetime” with her son. “I know we were destined to be together,” she went on. “I know we have had many moments together before we ever met. The comfort I find in your eyes confirms we’ve known one another before. My precious son, I know you were mine in another lifetime.”
In her post, Kardashian praised Tatum’s sweet giggle and his precious bond with his family. “It’s as if you knew us all before,” she added. “The insight you already have. The knowledge you possess. The way you know how to love. The way you communicate!! And you are only two years. I am so proud to be your mommy. So proud of the love and laughter we have in our house. So proud of your beautiful, gentle, polite, intelligent, loving, infectious spirit. You light up every single room. There’s no denying that Everyone smiles when they look at you! Especially True ???? she is so proud to call you hers, as am I.”
Khloé’s sister Kim Kardashian, her mom Kris Jenner, and her friends Malika and Khadijah Haqq were in attendance. Her ex Tristan Thompson, Tatum and True’s dad, was also there, and he shared his own tribute to his son.
“Happy birthday Tatum!! Man time goes by so fast!” the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player wrote on Instagram on Sunday. “I can’t believe you’re already two years old! I am so blessed and honored to be your dad. Your energy and charisma lights up the room.”
He continued, “Thank you for being such an amazing son and brother to your mommy and sister. Watching you grow every day makes my heart happy. Continue being the angel you are son. Daddy loves you so much.”
Other people wished Tatum a happy birthday, including his “Lovey” (grandma Kris). “Happy Birthday to my amazing little Grandson Tatum!!!!” she wrote on Instagram, sharing pictures of the toddler who looks so grown up! “You are such a beautiful boy filled with wonder, joy, amazement, curiosity and so so so much love!!!!!! You are the sweetest most special little love bug and every day fill me with such happiness and the best energy to start my days… I am so blessed God chose me to be your Grandma and I love you beyond measure!!!! Lovey ❤️???????????????????? P.S. you are Rob to the T!!!!!!!! @khloekardashian @realtristan13”
“The cutest!!!” Kim commented. The SKIMS founder also shared a photo hugging Tatum on her Instagram story. “Happy 2nd Birthday Tatum My baby!!” she wrote. “I love you so so so much!”
