Fans have decided that Sean is the true villain of the show having thought for ages it was Joey Essex[/caption] As the series draws to a close, its been an emotional rollar coaster[/caption]Die-hard fans now believe that Sean Stone is the arch manipulator after he was revealed as one of the key people who gave his, so-called ‘big bro’ Joey, the push.
They took to social media in their droves to air their thoughts that Sean is the real snake of the villa, in the aftermath of the discussion that followed Joey’s departure.
One said: “Nah man I am telling you, Sean is the real villain. Joey is light work.”
Another said: “Sean now acting like Joey is the villain and he went along with it.”
Meanwhile another “Not Sean the redemption arc with Joey being made out to be the real villain. Get out of here.”
In last night’s semi-final, Joey Essex and Jessy Potts were voted off by their co-stars just one episode before the season’s final.
The chaos began when Maya Jama revealed that he and Jessy had picked Sean Stone and Matilda Draper as the “least compatible” couple, which came as a huge shock due to Joey and Sean’s friendship.
The two boys have been close pals throughout their Love Island journey.
“Big bro?!” Sean gasped when it was revealed that Joey had voted for them.
“What, that’s crazy from Joey,” Matilda said.
But in a shock twist, former Islanders were also brought back into the villa to choose the least compatible couple.
After Joey and Jessy received nearly all of the votes, they were sent home.
Before leaving, Joey and Sean spoke about the dumping.
“You’ve had my back, you’ve given me confidence. We’ve had the good and the bad, but man to man I really appreciate you,” Sean told Joey.
“But obviously you voted for me..” he added.
Then Joey said that that he thought that everyone was going to vote for him and Jessy, so they felt they had to pick Sean and Jessie.
Once Joey and Jessy had left the villa, the remaining couples gathered to discuss their choices.
Sean sat down with Jess Spencer, who asked how he felt about Joey’s decision.
“I just had a moment where the penny dropped for me,” Sean said.
“I had his back in so many situations and I had his back. I sort of got wrapped up it so much,” he continued.
Jess asked him why he thought Joey picked him and Matilda.
“Basically he thought he was being more vulnerable because he thought he’d have more votes against him and didn’t think we would have many,” Sean admitted.
“So the fact about him being called a game player was actually true,” snapped Jess.
“It was all left respectfully, I wasn’t going to get aggy about it,” Sean replied.
Meanwhile emotions are running high ahead of tonight’s live final, as the cast prepare to say their goodbyes.
