At the boundary ropes, Rohit sprinted to his right, collected the ball, released it as he crossed them, and then returned to finish an incredible catch.
Indeed, Rohit’s efforts were commended on the Global 2Ồ Canada social media account, which wrote: “A catch that would make even Suryakumar proud.”
In the T20 World Cup 2024 final, Suryakumar won the Fielder Medal of the Match for his outstanding catch that got rid of David Miller at long off. Miller’s removal aided India’s recovery and helped them win the vital seven-run victory.
With the big-hitting David Miller for South Africa, they needed 16 runs from the last over. Hardik Pandya fired a wide full toss, but Suryakumar collected the ball, released it as he went over the boundary lines, and then came back in to complete an incredible catch.
