The move comes as the Beeb makes room for rolling coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
For the next week both shows – which are a staple of the BBC One afternoon schedule – will air on BBC Two.
The shake-up comes as BBC Breakfast was pulled off air two hours early on Saturday.
Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt were on hosting duties when they suddenly brought the show to an abrupt end.
Charlie said: “Lots to look forward to of course, the Olympics are officially under way.”
Naga continued: “Hence we will be leaving you now.
“But of course Breakfast will be back tomorrow from 6am.
“Thanks for watching – enjoy your weekend.”
Meanwhile, Morning Live has also been taken off air for an entire month.
The popular magazine programme – a direct rival to ITV’s This Morning – won’t be back until the end of August.
First airing on BBC One in 2000, Bargain Hunt sees two pairs of contestants tasked with buying antiques from a shop or fair and then try to make a profit at auction. With David Dickinson and Tim Wonnacott among the show's alumni, let's take a look at the current presenters.
