Despite being a keen traveller, often jetting off with his wife Catherine, Clive suffers from travel sickness.
He previously revealed: “It’s less so in planes now, more in cars, but I was just sick all the time on that flight from the UK to Kingston in Jamaica.
Then we had cross-country journeys on long bumpy roads to see cousins and other relatives.”
While reminiscing about the trip back to where his parents and family live, the presenter added: “I was just throwing up the whole time there.
“So it wasn’t the most wonderful travel experience, it must be said.”
He added to Holly Rubenstein on The Travel Diaries series last year that travel sickness still affects him.
Meanwhile, Clive recently spoke out about the sick death threats he’s received, admitting they’ve left him shaken.
He detailed the racism he’s experienced in his 30 years of being one of the faces of the BBC.
Clive said he had been sent faeces and cards with gorillas on. In one email he was told: “You shouldn’t be on TV, you dress like a pimp.”
One man’s threats became so serious he was tracked down, arrested and prosecuted.
