A WOMAN’S makeover has wowed people after her colour consultant advised her to get rid of the blonde tresses.
There’s no denying that the colour of your hair can either enhance your features or hide them – and recently image whizz Francesca proved just that.
The makeover has wowed people – scroll down to see the epic results[/caption] The beauty lover ditched her blonde tresses for a lovely brown shade[/caption]The Maidenhead-based style guru shared an epic transformation of a client who’d sported light blonde locks for a while – but although the young woman looked incredible, Francesca reckoned she’d suit a darker tone better.
The gorgeous blonde went from golden tresses to a brown shade with deep red undertones – and even Francesca couldn’t believe the difference.
Sharing the glow-up on her page, the image consultant said: ”I recently got sent this client transformation that left me speechless—I almost didn’t recognise her!
”Look at those eyes!” the guru added, posting the After snap in the video.
Not only were the blue-green eyes now popping, the client’s skin also appeared totally flawless, with the slight redness totally gone and a brand new glow.
”WOW, after nearly a decade in the industry, I’m still blown away by the magic of colour and style!”
It’s not just Francesca and the team at Fabulous left open-mouthed by the stark difference – the glow-up has already become a major hit on social media too.
One shocked person wrote: ”I think this is my new favourite.”
Another chimed in, writing: ”It feels like everyone always wants to be blonde, without realising it’s unflattering on many people.”
”Wow! Amazing transformation! Eyes popped!” a third agreed.
”Her skin looks better too,” a fellow was penned.
”Beautiful transformation for a beautiful person!” someone else remarked.
”It occurred to me that many of us choose to go a shade of blonde when in fact, we are more suited to a colour closer to our natural, which may or may not be blonde.”
According to Dobkine, colour analysis is a process that helps people find colours that complement them the best — whether that’s your wardrobe, clothing, make-up, jewellery or hair.
In total, there are 16 different colour palettes that each person can identify with, but for the most part beauty buffs tend to lean toward the seasonal ones: winter, spring, summer and autumn.
According to a British study, there is evidence that suggests that the colours worn by a person can affect how they are perceived by others.
COOL SKIN TONE
IF like Adele and Nicole Kidman you have a cool skin tone, you should wear lavender, emerald, bright blue, charcoal grey, purples, ice blue and pink.
Avoid oranges, yellows, red, gold.
WARM SKIN TONE
IF you’re warm like Gwyneth Paltrow and Beyonce, you should wear reds, rust, turquoise, oranges, browns, navy, warm greens and corals .
Avoid icy colours such as pastel shades, dark overpowering colours and rosy or berry undertones.
For example: red and pink are thought to signal sexual attractiveness, particularly when worn by women, while dark colours like black or navy may convey the impression of authority – in turn making the wearer seem less approachable.
The theories of colour analysis also teach that certain colours are capable of emphasising or, conversely, de-emphasising an individuals attractiveness to others.
Unflattering colours may make a person look pale, for instance, or draw attention to such “flaws” as wrinkles or uneven skin tone. Flattering colours are thought to have the opposite effect.
