Donald Trump's Vice Presidential pick J.D. Vance has been in hot water over statements he has made in the past, including those about "childless cat ladies" he claimed lead the Democratic party, but MAGA darlings and far-right influencers are rallying around him.
Vance has been plagued by negative press since his debut at the Republican National Convention, and the lawmaker now faces an endless supply of insulting memes about couches and dolphins.
Despite some calling on Trump to dump Vance in the wake of Vice President Kamala Harris' fledgling candidacy, those on the far-right appear to be digging in their heels on the senator's candidacy."

Former Fox host Dan Bongino, a Trump ally who last year was caught being thrown out of Palm Beach restaurant, said on Saturday that "all the 'right' people hate JD Vance."
"The commie libs, the lib media, the swamp rats, the establishment frauds, and the d-bag DC cronies," Bongino said. "He should wear it like a medal."
Right-wing activist and host Charlie Kirk, who urged people to attack Vice President Kamala Harris before she was leading the party, also chimed in:
"The rightwing’s rallying around JD Vance has been great to see," Kirk said Saturday. "The left went too hard and too fast against him."
He continued, saying, "It’s turning normal people off and creating a massive uptick in vocal support for JD."
Former Fox News host-turned podcaster Megyn Kelly, who was recently slammed after saying an "unqualified" Harris slept her way to get "ahead," also defended Vance and his past comments.
"For all of you still b------- about JD Vance’s childless cat lady remarks: KAMALA HARRIS SUPPORTS THE STERILIZATION & MUTILATION OF PERFECTLY HEALTHY MINOR CHILDREN," Kelly said on Saturday. "GET A GRIP."
