Prince William and Kate Middleton have been married for over a decade already. However, the royal couple's marriage is still subjected to various rumors. The latest one claimed that the Prince of Wales spent Valentine's Day with his alleged mistress.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have been busy with their royal duties. They have been spotted in joint engagements in the past weeks.
However, Music Mundial claimed that Prince William spent Valentine's Day with his alleged mistress, Rose Hanbury. An anonymous worker from a luxurious Italian food restaurant located in London reportedly witnessed how the duo celebrated the event.
Prince William and his alleged lover spent a romantic dinner in a restaurant, and he gifted her an expensive and elegant pearl necklace to mark the event.
On the other hand, Middleton previously said that she wasn't expecting any present from her husband. Weeks before Valentine's Day, Middleton visited Leeds Kirkgate Market in Leeds, England, to promote her new campaign for Shaping Us.
"No doubt William will be buying you some red roses," the florist told her, People reported. "No doubt William will be buying you some red roses."
"I don't think he will do," Middleton said.
The outlet connected the two stories to claim that Prince William spent Valentine's Day sans his wife and family. However, one should take the report with a grain of salt.
Just recently, the Prince and Princess of Wales attended the 2023 BAFTAs, and they subtly packed on the PDA with Middleton patting her husband's behind while they were on the red carpet, as shown in Vogue's video on Instagram.
The cheating rumors involving Prince William have been going on for years. It claimed that the future king was having an affair with Middleton's friend Rose Hanbury.
"Kate finds the rumors hurtful, obviously, and hates the thought that one day her children will be able to read about them online," a family friend told Us Weekly in 2019.
Another source claimed she confronted her husband, and he just laughed it off because the rumors were not true. However, Prince William was not at all happy with the allegations against him.
Prince William hired lawyers to take legal action about the issue and at least one British publication was reportedly served with a legal warning for publishing details of the rumors that he said were "false" and "damaging."

Royal journalist and biographer Duncan Larcombe weighed in on the issues after BBC dropped its new documentary The Princes and the Press. Larcombe felt that the Duke of Cambridge had some issues with the program because it brought back the story of Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle's row and suggested that Kensington Palace willingly briefed the media about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Express reported."One of the key issues with this BBC documentary is the fact that what they have done is underestimate just how sensitive a subject it is, Prince William in particular that his own brother and his sister-in-law Meghan have accused the Monarch in Oprah Winfrey of briefing and deliberately allowing stories about Meghan that she made Kate cry over the famous row before the wedding and they claim that the story was not true, its the wrong way around," Larcombe said on True Royalty's The Royal Beat.
"So we’ve got an argument here that who made cry who which is a primary school thing but the palace to take the very much thing not to be drawn in this row."
Aside from bringing up the rift between the two duchesses, the program seemed more inclined to show the Sussexes in a positive light because, as Larcombe said, it convinced some audience that the Sussexes were the ones telling the truth.
"The BBC’s documentary, allowed people to say yeah ‘they were briefing,’ ‘they were telling us this’ Harry and Meghan are effectively right," he added.

In November 2018, there were reports that Meghan Markle made her sister-in-law Kate Middleton cry during the flower girls' dress fitting ahead of the royal wedding. The Duchess of Sussex addressed the issue when she and Prince Harry sat down for an interview with Oprah Winfrey in March. She denied it and said, "the reverse happened."Winfrey confronted her with what she meant with her statement and Prince Harry's wife said it was Middleton who made her cry. Markle confirmed that the disagreement was over the flower girls' dresses but declined to share more details because Middleton had already apologized to her and she had already forgiven her.

The Duchess of Sussex said she never wanted the story to come out, even if it happened. So, she was shocked it made headlines, and the reports were reversed. She also stressed that everyone in the palace knew the truth, but no one came forward to clear her name.
It has been years since the incident happened. In July, an unnamed source told Us Weekly that Prince William and Prince Harry's wives had already put their differences aside. The duchesses allegedly exchanged SMS after Markle and Prince Harry welcomed baby Lili in June.

Jesús Enrique Rosas, also known as the Body Language Guy on YouTube compared how the royal couple does this by reviewing their appearance at the Royal Variety Performance.He noted that Middleton's handshakes are in the background and hardly noticeable. Also, he pointed out where Prince William and Middleton focused their eyes while performing the gesture.
"To be more specific, William looks intently at the hand of the people he’s about to greet, while Catherine just gives a quick look, and sometimes goes for the handshake without even looking at the other person’s hand," Rosas said per Express.

"Well, there’s no way you can see the other person’s hand without lowering your gaze for a split second. You have to shift your eyes down and at the same time lowering your gaze is making a slight deference to the other person."
He believed that Prince William usually looks down purposely to give a feeling of deference. Also, the future king is very tall, so doing so is a way to not appear intimidating.
He added that the other option is what Middlelton does. The duchess takes a quick look at the person's hand or, in some instances, doesn't look at the person's hand or break the eye contact.

"This version is more powerful and in some scenarios intimidating - but Catherine is not intimidating because she’s got her genuine and warm smile. But her handshake is one of power," he explained.Aside from the eye contact, Rosas observed that the couple nods when they shake hands. He believed that nodding is a good addition to the greeting.
Prince William usually does a single while Middleton does two or three quick nods. In this area, Rosas said, giving a single nod is more powerful and by doing so, the Duke of Cambridge balances his style of handshake as warm and powerful.
"There is something that is important to remember here; it’s not that one handshake is better than the other, or that one of them is wrong, or there is a correct form that you have to follow," he added.
