In Madhya Pradesh's Mandla district, seven individuals, including five women and a child, have passed away due to diarrhoea and water-borne diseases. About 150 others have fallen ill over the last ten days. Official reports indicate contamination of food and water as the primary cause, prompting health teams to take action and raise awareness. Similar cases in Umaria district led to disciplinary actions against health officials.
