Two men were admitted to hospital in Limassol on Saturday after reportedly both having been stabbed by the same person.
The first, a 33-year-old man, was found in the city by the police and was taken by ambulance to the Limassol general hospital.
He had two open wounds on his back which doctors said had been caused by a “sharp object” and remains in hospital.
Later in the day, a 22-year-old man took himself to the Limassol general hospital having been stabbed in the chest.
The police say they are searching for the stabber, who is described as being approximately 1.85 metres tall, of slim build, with short hair, aged approximately 30 years old.
The motive behind the incidents is not yet known.
