WEED-LOVING Snoop Dogg lit up at the Olympics – but thankfully it was just the torch.
The American rapper, 52, danced through the streets of Paris today on the final day of the torch’s relay across France.

His leg was in the Saint-Denis area of northern Paris, home of the Stade de France which will stage the athletics at the 2024 Games.
And he clearly enjoyed his moment in the spotlight and crucially did not Drop It Like It’s Hot.
The Californian, decked out in the all-white outfit worn by all torchbearers and bold gold shoes, waved to the crowd as he headed along the pavement near the 70,000-seater stadium.
And as he reached the end of his journey and passed on the flame by lighting the next torch, Snoop Dogg brought out the dance moves to the delight of the fans.
But plenty joked the public supporter of smoking marijuana was going to use the torch to light a giant joint.
One said: “Snoop Dogg walking through Paris with a giant joint. Rumour has it he will make the Olympic rings out of smoke tonight at the ceremony.”
Another wrote: “Snoop Dogg probably thinks that’s a giant spliff that he will get to smoke at the end of the walk!”

A third added: “No, you can’t smoke it.”
A fourth commented: “How big was the spliff he lit with that?!”

Paris 2024 Olympics – Opening Ceremony
Only one show in town today.. just about!
The historic Opening Ceremony which is taking place on the River Seine rather than a stadium ends proceedings on Friday evening.
While there has been football and rugby sevens among events which started before the ceremony this week, they will not be taking place on the day of the big bash.
Only shooting pre-event training will take place on the day of the Opening Ceremony.

A fifth joked: “Snoop Dogg competing in joint rolling in the Olympics I see… That’s got gold written all over it!”
And the official Specsavers account replied: “Nothing will surprise our eyes more today.”
Snoop Dogg – real name Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr – got the nod from Paris 2024 organisers because of his high profile – and the fact that his hometown of Los Angeles is hosting the next Summer Olympics in four years’ time.
He followed in the footsteps of Thierry Henry, Arsene Wenger, Formula One driver Charles Leclerc and glamorous American actress Halle Berry in carrying the torch through France.
The Olympics officially open on Friday evening with the ambitious opening ceremony along the River Seine.
Approximately 10,500 athletes will travel six kilometres along the river in boats, paraded to the crowd on the banks.
They will arrive at Champions Park – a temporary stadium with a crowd capacity of 13,000 – in front of the Trocadero by the Eiffel Tower.
There, the rest of the ceremony will take place, including an opening declaration from the French President, Emmanuel Macron, as well as various performances – with Celine Dion and Lady Gaga set to sing.
