Overseas Cypriots (POMAK and PSEKA) will hold their 30th central council meetings next week in Cyprus, an announcement said.
There will also be a 12th World Youth Congress of the World Federation of NEPOMAK, the World Organization for Young Overseas Cypriots from July 30 to August 2, a press release said.
President Nikos Christodoulides will open the works of the meetings, the evening of July 30.
During the opening ceremony, Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos will welcome the delegates.
House Speaker Annita Demetriou, Archbishop Georgios and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, responsible for issues of the Hellenic diaspora, George Kotsiras will also address the participants.
The conference will also be welcomed by the President of POMAK Andreas Papaevripides, the President of PSEKA Philip Christopher and the President of NEPOMAK Christos Tuton.
On Wednesday, the members of the central councils of the organisations will be received by the president at the presidential palace. A reception will follow at the presidential palace for all participants of the conference, during which a ceremony will be held to honour accomplished Cypriots of the diaspora.
During the three days of work of the congress, they will be informed by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Energy, Defence and Education on matters of their responsibilities.
During the third day of the work of the congress, leaders or representatives of the parliamentary parties will address the participants and discussions will follow. Other government officials as well as representatives of other organisations will also address the meetings.
