But ahead of Nick being thrown into rehearsals, his stunning fiancée Katie Dadzie has opened up to pals about the dreaded ‘Strictly Curse’.
With the Saturday night entertainment format requiring pro dancers and celebs to spend long days and nights together, it’s led to romances developing.
But a source close to Katie, 34, says she trusts her man and isn’t worried about his eyes wandering.
They told us: “Katie isn’t worried about the curse.
“After Nick signed up for the show they joked about it, they’re very confident in their relationship.
“Obviously Katie is stunning and Nick definitely isn’t looking elsewhere – why would he? This is nothing but a job for him.”
Nick put a clip of his footwork on Instagram in March last year — with one fan commenting: “I see Strictly Come Dancing on the horizon.”
It was understood that he had been in talks with the BBC for months and recently came to an agreement to join the show.
A source said: “Nick has always loved Strictly and he is so excited.
“He’s got a great personality, is incredibly driven and competitive and is up for giving anything a crack. He’s going on the show to entertain and to win. He’ll give it his best shot.”
Strictly bosses have faced a growing storm after celebrities’ claims of abusive behaviour were revealed.
Celebs and pro dancers who have fallen for each other on the show include Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton, who danced together in 2018 and won.
Countdown star Rachel Riley also met her husband Pasha Kovalev in 2013.
However, comedian Seann Walsh was embroiled in a scandal when he was caught kissing his dancer Katya Jones in 2018.
In the fallout, Katya split from husband and fellow dance pro Neil Jones, 41, while Seann and actress girlfriend Rebecca Humphries, 36, also broke up.
