The free guide is available for download via the My Nintendo website and no subscription or payment is required to grab it.
My Nintendo rewards usually cost Platinum or Gold Points to redeem, but occasionally Nintendo gives away items for zero points.
That’s the case with this free guide, which only requires you to log in with your Nintendo account to redeem.
To grab your freebie, just go to my.nintendo.com, log in, and you will see the free guide on the My Nintendo homepage.
The digital booklet is completely free and doesn’t even require you to own the game to redeem.
Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition is a collection of more than 150 short speedrunning trials taken from 13 of the most popular NES games from the ‘80s.
These are titles like the original Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Excitebike, the very first Donkey Kong, Metroid, and more.
The compilation doesn’t include the full games but rather small bits you need to complete as fast as possible.
Unlocking all challenges and collectibles for a single game also unlocks its Legend challenge and this is where the free guide will come in handy.
