Dolly Parton Is Sharing Her Family Recipes in a New Cookbook & It’s Available for Pre-Order Now

Ever wonder what Dolly Parton cooks up when she’s hosting her family and friends for dinner? Well, you’ll soon have access to that knowledge and even try a few of the recipes out for yourself! Dolly and her sister Rachel Parton George are releasing a cookbook together in September called Good Lookin’ Cookin’: A Year of Meals, and it’s part cookbook and part memoir with the sisters sharing both family recipes and stories.

Available for pre-order on Amazon, Good Lookin’ Cookin’ is a book of 12 “multi-course menus of cherished recipes for New Year’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and more,” the book’s Amazon listing reads. These recipes include how to make a “Dolly Dollop,” Dolly’s favorite meal that Rachel makes for her every year for her birthday, and which condiment is always on the Parton family table no matter the meal being served.

The Parton sisters also share their recipes for chicken and dumplings, BBQ spare ribs, meatloaf, mac and cheese, strawberry shortcake, and a watermelon fruit salad, to name just a few. In total, the book contains more than 80 delicious Parton family recipes.
