J.D. Vance's comment bemoaning "childless cat ladies" has earned no shortage of jeers, and the Republican vice presidential nominee can count at least one more critic — Jennifer Aniston.
The Hollywood actress took to Instagram Stories on Wednesday night to blast Donald Trump's running mate over comments he made in 2021 to then Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
In the clip, Vance refers to Democrats as “a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices they’ve made.”
"And so they want to make the rest of the country miserable too," he said. "And it's just a basic fact. You look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC, the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children. And how does it make any sense that we've turned our country over to people who don't really have a direct stake in it?"
Aniston slammed Vance's comments, saying she "truly can't believe this is coming from a potential VP of The United States."

"All I can say is ... " she added, "Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day. I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option. Because you are trying to take that away from her, too."
Aniston's rare public political jab was met with cheers on the social media app X.
"Rachel is ACTIVATED," wrote @MeghanMcCarthy_, referring to Aniston's iconic "Friends" character.
"Powerful, heartfelt statement. Most women relate to this," wrote @liberalease on Wednesday.
"If more people made the decision not to have children, we might live in a better world. Just because you CAN HAVE children, doesn't mean you SHOULD," said @jimboxp.
"Jennifer is absolutely correct," cheered @HacknerTyler.
