Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts wasted no time in responding to a question about any possible tension between him and coach Nick Sirianni.
In fact, Hurts didn’t even need to hear the full prompt from a reporter about whether or not he and Sirianni had any issues last season.
After Sirianni denied on Wednesday that there was any disconnect with his and Hurts’ relationship after the team’s second-half collapse in 2023, Hurts quickly doubled down on the sentiment as he spoke with media to start 2024 training camp with Philadelphia.
To Hurts, it’s about everyone that’s a part of the Eagles organization buying into their roles to win a Super Bowl. He said he’s got faith in the top leaders of the franchise to help get the job done.
“I truly trust [team owner Jeffrey] Lurie, I trust [general manager Howie Roseman], I trust coach Sirianni to lead us in that right direction,” Hurts said during the press availability.

We’ll see how the Eagles do in rebounding after a difficult 2023 season, one where both Hurts and Sirianni will be in the spotlight as to how each of them performs in getting back to their winning ways.
Them being on the same page will be crucial in that pursuit.
