A FASHION lover has shared some of her top finds from the latest Tesco F&F line – and they’re big bust-approved.
Shopping with a larger bust has never been a fun experience – garments are either too tight or too lose, often leaving you frustrated.
But if you’re on the lookout for purse-friendly summer bits that also fit perfectly, it’s best to check out your local Tesco, where fashionista Sarah Roberts recently bagged a monster haul.
Not one to gatekeep, the brunette beauty also took to TikTok to model her top finds, which included a black and white two-piece.
The zebra-print co-ord, which included the on-trend maxi skirt and a chic blouse, cost £34 altogether – although these can also be purchased separately for £18 and £16 respectively.
”As soon as I seen this, I knew I needed it,” noted Sarah, adding that the outfit reminded her of a more posh brand.
The 5ft4 fashionista, who posts under the username @sarahrroberts_, sized up for a UK 12 for the top for a ore flowy look and stuck her usual UK 10 for the bottom part.
Whilst browsing the latest F&F range of the season, the customer also purchased lightweight wide-legged trousers with a tie-dye effect at the bottom.
Going for an affordable £18, Sarah reckoned that paired with the matching button-up shirt, also £18, the trousers would make for a fabulous holiday ensemble.
No summer wardrobe is complete without a classic white maxi dress – and the popular supermarket has come to rescue with the perfect pick.
The white frock, which is selling for £25, comes with an elasticated back – which makes it ideal for the bigger busted fashion fans, Sarah reckoned.
In the clip, the delighted shopper also showed off a basic black maxi skirt – yet another must-have, which the store also offers in khaki.
The maxi number, £16, was followed by a matching T-shirt, £14, and a navy stripped midi dress with thin straps.
”Love the string detailing on the bust area and the straps are adjustable,” Sarah was raving over the £19.50 find.
It’s not just the lucky customer who’s impressed with the fabulous haul – fellow TikTok users loved it just as much, praising the supermarket for the affordable range.
Onesaid: ”Lots in the sale for f&f the last couple days.”
DEPUTY Fashion Editor Abby McHale weighs in:
The supermarkets have really upped their game when it comes to their fashion lines. These days, as you head in to do your weekly food shop you can also pick up a selection of purse-friendly, stylish pieces for all the family.
Tesco has just announced a 0.7 per cent increase in the quarter thanks to a ‘strong growth in clothing’ and M&S has earnt the title of the number one destination for womenswear on the high street.
Asda’s clothing line George has made £1.5 million for the supermarket in 2023, 80 per cent of Sainsbury’s clothes sold at full price rather than discounted and Nutmeg at Morrisons sales are also up 2 per cent in the past year.
So what is it about supermarket fashion that is becoming so successful?
Apart from the clothing actually being affordable, it’s good quality too – with many being part of schemes such as the Better Cotton Initiative.
A lot of the time they keep to classic pieces that they know will last the customer year after year.
Plus because they buy so much stock they can turn around pieces quickly and buy for cheaper because of the volumes.
”Wow they all look good,” another chimed in.
”Stunning ,” a third was amazed.
Heading to the nearest Tesco this weekend? Don’t forget to check out their swimwear collection – the line is said to look good on everybody, and it won’t cost you an arm and a leg either.
Some of internet’s favourite finds include a geometric white and black swimsuit, which is priced at just £22.50 – and is sure to turn heads this summer.
There’s also a black, sparkly swimsuit – a pool essential you can bag for a budget-friendly £22.50.
