Our jaws were on the floor when we saw the latest photo of Halle Bailey’s adorable son Halo. The actress really said copy and paste while pregnant and it’s clear her boyfriend DDG’s genes didn’t stand a chance.
Because little Halo is his mama’s clone through and through!
Bailey posted the sweetest photo of a smiley Halo on her Instagram Story of Halo celebrating his 7-month birthday. He is sitting at the table with a brownie topped with seven candles in front of him, but he only has eyes for whoever was standing outside the frame.
“7 months today ????,” the star of The Little Mermaid wrote over the photo.
And it couldn’t be clearer that Halo is her mini-me. The little guy has the same eyes (sparkle and all!), the same round face, and the same gentle smile.
Rapper DDG also shared photos of Halo on the special day with the caption, “trying not to be that dad that only post pictures of his son on instagram but these pictures are too adorable ????♥️”
In the photos, the father and son are at the beach, and Halo gives the camera the widest eyes. People encouraged the first-time dad to keep posting and agreed that Halo is a mini Halle.
“Yea that’s definitely [Bailey’s] face ????” “Boy he looks just like his mama !” “Ddg were you even in the room when the baby was made ????????????,” another person joked.
In April, the new parents shared baby Halo’s first word, and it pissed off internet trolls that you can’t see Halo’s face. In the video, DDG hilariously told his son (who was apparently attending a meeting with his mom), “When you get there, and everybody wanna say hi to you, you gotta make sure you be nice to the director and the producer so you can get some minutes too, OK?”
Halo then said, “OK!” Clear. As. Day.
DDG and Bailey both got so excited to hear their son’s first word, but the internet had other feelings. “If you have to keep rotating the babies torso to hide their face, just stay off of the damn internet,” one person wrote.
“If it was really about the baby’s privacy they wouldn’t be posting him as much as they do,” another said. “idk how nobody finds this weird.”
What we find weird is how entitled you feel to see a stranger’s baby’s face. Sure, it’s a really freakin’ cute one. But now you know you can just look at a picture of his mom — an adult public figure — and know you’re seeing Halo’s face too. Will that suffice?
