Dutch Skater Keet Oldenbeuvin Takes to TikTok to Unbox Nike SB Dunks Ahead of Paris Olympics

Dutch skater Keet Oldenbeuvin is all about her Dunks. The Nike SB-sponsored athlete is in Paris readying for the Summer Olympics as she represents the Netherlands. The teen made her first appearance at the 2020 Olympics Games in Tokyo, making her debut, along with her sport.
Now, she’s one-to-watch, and the 19-year-old is taking fans along for the ride via TikTok.
Oldenbeuvin has been posting since arriving to Paris earlier this month, giving an insider’s look at the sleeping conditions and that infamous cardboard bed, for example. Plus, she’s been unboxing her Olympic gear and showcasing the sneakers she plans to skate in.
Oldenbeuvin gave an up-close look at the Nike SB Dunk Low “Olympic Safari” shoes.
“Every skater has a model shoe they prefer, I used to skate mostly in Blazer Low GT because I liked those the most,” she said in a TikTok video. “But, I injured my ankle a couple months ago so I’ve only been skating in Dunks ever since that happened.”
The sneaker is part of Nike history and is making a rare appearance — in a big way — for this Olympics. The animal print made its debut on the Air Safari in 1987. (The AlphaFly 3 supershoe will also get “Safari Olympic” update.)
Additionally, Oldenbeuvin unboxed the Nike Dunks she’s been wearing for Olympic qualifiers, which were the Rayssa Nike SB Dunk Low Pro style made for Brazilian skater Rayssa Leal. She said she will practice in both styles before choosing the sneaker she will compete in.

The Nike SB Dunk Low “Olympic Safari” will release Aug. 9 through the Snkrs app and select third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $125.
