New 'Wicked' Featurette Shares More Footage, Including Ethan Slater As Boq & Shows Behind-the-Scenes Making of the Sets - Watch Now!
A new featurette for the upcoming Wicked movies has just been released and there’s new footage from the films!
Director Jon M Chu opens up in the clip about how they made actual, real life sets for the movie, to be immersed in the land of Oz, as opposed to adding it in as CGI.
“We knew that we wanted Wicked to be immersive. What’s it feel like to be in Oz? To feel it in your fingertips. If you want to be inside that world, you got to build it. You got to build Emerald City. You got to build Munchkinland,” he says in the video.

In the new featurette, we also hear from leading ladies Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, plus more new footage is shown of them, Jonathan Bailey, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Marissa Bode and Ethan Slater.
Fans will take notice of the new footage of Marissa as Nessarose and Ethan as Boq, as they have not been seen much in the previously released trailer and teaser!
