CBS’s 2024 NFL broadcaster lineup will look a lot like its 2023 lineup. Unless you’re watching the pre- and post-game show.
The NFL Today, the show that welcomes most viewers who tune in early for AFC showdowns, made a couple major changes. Longtime analysts Phil Simms and Boomer Esiason are out. In their place steps Matt Ryan, who’ll pair with 2023 addition J.J. Watt as the young guys on the panel.
That creates a minor shakeup further down the branches of the CBS announcer lineup. Ryan was part of the network’s mid-tier game-calling crew, teaming with Andrew Catalon, Tiki Barber and A.J. Ross in 2023. He’ll be replaced by Jason McCourty, who’ll step up from a rotating role to join a season-long crew in his third year post retirement.
Let’s take a look at CBS’s announcer teams and what has changed for 2024.
