Right Before the T20 World Cup, Hardik Pandya Messaged this Indian Cricketer- ‘I was Surprised…’

The 2024 season of IPL was like a nightmare for Hardik Pandya. Pandya, who left Gujarat Titans and joined Mumbai Indians, was made to replace Rohit Sharma and was made the new captain by the franchise. But from the very beginning of the league, Pandya was getting badly trolled and criticized. He was booed on the field, which took a direct hit on his metal processing and eventually, on his performance in the game as well. Pandya got mentally stressed due to lack of his individual performance and also due to being last in the points table, but even after all this, he was completely involved in the preparations for the T20 World Cup.

The World Cup was his only way to redeem himself and answer all the people who were criticising him, and before this humongous event, Pandya sent a message to an Indian cricketer. The cricketer was surprise to see his message. What Pandya told the cricketer in the time period between the IPL and the World Cup has recently been revealed. But before that we need to know who the cricketer was. The Indian cricketer was Sunrises Hyderabad all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy. Reddy revealed this in a conversation with cricinfo. He said-

“Hardik bhai had messaged me that the intention and energy I am showing on the field is good and we should continue to respect the game. He said that we will talk soon. I was surprised to see his message after the IPL season, especially when he was busy with World Cup duty.”

Nitish Kumar Reddy said that Pandya and Ben Stokes are his inspirations to become an all-rounder. He further said that he thanked Pandya the star all-rounder for the message he sent.
