Tottenham Hotspur are experiencing some difficulty in attracting offers for one of their midfielders due to concerns about his physical condition.
Ange Postecoglou has not been shy about offloading players this summer, with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg the latest to go through the exit door.
Another midfielder could follow him in the shape of Giovani Lo Celso, who was a bit part player last season at Tottenham and has been heavily linked with a move away from the north London side.
He is in the final year of his contract and Tottenham are keen to move him on in the ongoing transfer window.
Clubs such as Real Betis, Lazio and Napoli have been linked with an interest in the midfielder this summer.
However, according to Italian daily Corriere della Sera (via Tutto Mercato), his suitors are wary of the injury issues he has faced in the last few years.
Last season, Lo Celso had issues with muscle injuries and knee troubles and was unavailable to play for certain periods of the campaign.
He had four spells out of action last term.
Clubs are worried about his physical conditioning, which has led to the lack of concrete offers on his table.
With more than a month left in the transfer window, Lo Celso is still expected to leave Tottenham this summer.
However, Tottenham may have to do something on their asking price due to clubs being concerned about the player’s fitness.
