MARK Wright has bagged a brand new gig on a popular BBC daytime series.
The former Towie star, 37, is joining the programme ahead of its fourth series.
Home makeover show Clean It, Fix It sees DIY experts and cleaners come together to help property owners fall back in love with their space.
Mark will be a new addition to the presenting team, which already includes presenter and celebrity builder Tommy Walsh, expert cleaner Maxine Dwyer, as well as creative carpenter Asher Edwards.
He said: “I’m passionate about property and renovations, so I’m delighted to be joining such a wonderful team and programme.
“I can’t wait to get stuck in and help change people’s lives and living situations…
“Clean It, Fix It has a heart, we come in and help people out who sometimes can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, so helping people in this way is great, and sometimes tugs on the heart-strings – especially when the owners see the finished result.”
The television personality made his debut over a decade ago, being among the original cast of The Only Way is Essex.
Launching in 2010, he appeared alongside the likes of Amy Childs and Lauren Goodger, but stopped being a full-time cast member by 2011.
After his departure, Mark returned for cameo appearances with the most recent being in 2016.
Since then, Mark has gone on to enjoy a varied career across several projects.
He has ventured into the world of reality TV with I’m A Celebrity… and Strictly Come Dancing.
Meanwhile, Mark also previously worked in the US as an entertainment reporter.
Before Clean It, Fix It, his other presenting work has included UK’s version of dating show The Bachelor.
Mark co-presented children’s series The Dengineers for its first two series.
He also fronted the UK adaptation of reality competition series The Challenge for Channel 5 in early 2023.
Since rising to fame over a decade ago as a reality TV star, popular personality Mark Wright has gone on to enjoy a successful career.
In 2012, Mark became a radio presenter on Heart where he initially presented the “Club Classics” show every Friday and Saturday evening between 7pm and 9pm.
He left the station in December 2017 to move to the United States, becoming a presenter for Extra.
However, Mark later made a comeback to Heart in July 2019.
As of 2021, Mark presents the Saturday early evening show from 4pm to 7pm.
