Axed bombshell breaks her silence after ‘brutal’ Love Island dumping and ‘awkward’ Aftersun appearance
AXED Lola Deluca has broken her silence after being brutally dumped from the Love Island villa and an awkward Aftersun appearance.
Lola and fellow bombshell Harry Baker were dumped from Love Island just days after arriving.
Now she’s spoken out about her time on the show and – despite the short and sweet experience – Lola still reflected positively.
Sharing a snap of her smiling in the villa, Lola wrote: “Just wanted to say a massive thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the amazing comments and messages, the most surreal experience!
“I’m so happy to have met some of the most incredible people and I’m so excited for the next chapter.”
While Lola and Harry were in the villa they explored connections with Reuben Collins and Grace Jackson respectively.
But, appearing on Aftersun at the weekend, Harry confessed he and Lola “do fancy each other” and are seeing what happens.
Host Maya Jama wasted no time in putting the pair on the spot and asked if they’d be coupling up outside of the villa.
After an awkward pause, Harry told Maya: “Who knows, obviously in the villa it’s heated in there, see how we get on these next couple of days after being dumped.
“Obviously we do fancy each other so who knows.”
Fans were left raging when it was announced the dumping would come as the result of a public vote, insisting that Lola and Harry should’ve been immune as they were new to the villa.
Writing on social media, one said: “They should be putting Lola and Harry immune. Absolute p*** take putting them up for the vote.”
Another said: “Purely voting for Lola and Harry because they were absolutely stitched up and they’re nicer people than some of those couples.”
