MYLEENE Klass risked missing a Good Morning Britain appearance after being stranded overseas for 48 hours in travel chaos.
Noughties pop legend Myleene, 46, vented her frustration as she took to Instagram yesterday from Zurich Airport in Switzerland.
Panning around to film the queues, she wrote: “For two days I’ve been trying to get back home for an important interview with @gmb where I’m due to talk about something incredibly important for both Parents and Children.
“Fingers crossed tonight is my lucky night! Tune in at 8am GMT to see if I make it!!”
In a follow-up Story, the singer added: “Ok, I’m very excited, I’ve got an update. I am on the bus transiting to the plane.
“Hopefully when this plane takes off, I will get home abour 3:30 which means I’ll get home at five o’clock, a bit of mum math here, which means I will be getting up at 6:50 so after hour and 15, I will be on live TV.
“So, if you would like to see what a woman who has been travelling all night and has had one hour and 15 minutes of sleep…”
Trailing off while glancing at some noisy children, she added: “I’ve got some mental passengers here living their best life, I might just sound like they do.”
However, Myleene admitted she’d gotten her numbers mixed up as she corrected herself in her caption.
And thankfully, the TV personality made it to the studio in time as she backed a campaign to help guide parents to have conversations with their children about mental health.
It follows reports Myleene wants to expose juicy diary details from her Hear’Say days in a gritty new documentary.
The Pure & Simple songstress was picked to be in the pop band after auditioning for ITV reality show, Popstars, in 2001.
Myleene was joined by Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw, Danny Foster and Noel Sullivan and the five-piece broke chart records with their debut single, Pure and Simple.
However, Kym left the band in January 2002 and Hear’Say split months later in October 2022.
Myleene has gone on to have a successful career as a solo artist and radio and TV personality, but now she wants to use her experience of being on a talent show and in a band for a new documentary.
Sources close to Myleene told The Mirror she is on the cusp of approaching production companies with her idea, having kept her diaries from her days in Hear’Say.
The insider told the publication: “She thinks it would make a fantastic documentary on the likes of Channel 4 or one of the streaming services to show how wild it was in comparison to today’s standards.
“It would make cult viewing 20 years on.”
