Everton ‘will formally complete’ the deal with Napoli for Jesper Lindstrom today as the two clubs will exchange documents, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Sean Dyche is pushing ahead with his plans to strengthen his Toffees squad despite a takeover collapsing.
He moved to snap up attacking midfielder Lindstrom, who Napoli are prepared to let leave after an underwhelming season in Serie A last term.
A deal is in place and is now firmly on track after Lindstrom, who had been having doubts, was convinced about the move.
Today Everton ‘will formally complete’ the deal and documents will be exchanged with Napoli.
Lindstrom will be put through his medical paces by the Toffees.
Everton are signing the Dane on a season-long loan deal and have an option to buy set at €22.5m to €23m included if he impresses on Merseyside.
While Lindstrom struggled to make an impact at Napoli, he did impress at prior club Eintracht Frankfurt, where he won the Europa League.
