Alec Blair, a four-star in the class of 2025, has committed to Oklahoma to play both basketball and baseball, he announced Tuesday.
The 6-foot-6 wing out of De La Salle (CA.) chose the Sooners over Texas A&M, Cal, Clemson, Oregon and others.
“I like to think I have one of the best mid-range games in the nation,” he said. “I’ve definitely improved as a shooter and I’m a really good passer. I’m a tall point guard, I like to get in the pick-and-roll and make plays for myself and my teammates as well. I’ll also be guarding the opponents best player, I take pride in my defense and I really enjoy taking matchups personally.”
“Baseball wise, you’re getting a guy who’s got a lot of tools,” he concluded. “I’m tall, lanky, I’m bigger than everyone else. I hit super well, I hit for average and power. I play center field really well, I’m fast and have a really good arm.”
