HITC and Graeme Bailey report that Tottenham, Manchester United and West Ham United are all showing interest in the same Bayern Munich player this summer.
Rumours are that Emerson Royal could be on his way out of Tottenham this summer, with AC Milan looking to re-open talks with Spurs over a potential summer deal (CaughtOffside).
Pedro Porro appears to be Ange Postecoglou’s undisputed first-choice right-back ahead of the 2024/25 Premier League campaign, but Djed Spence has also impressed in pre-season.
Spence, who was loaned out to Genoa last season, was one of Tottenham’s best players against Hearts and Queens Park Rangers last week. He also made the squad for Spurs’ pre-season tour of Asia.
Bayern Munich have reportedly told Noussair Mazraoui that he is free to leave the club this summer, and there is interest from Spurs, Man United and West Ham.
The Moroccan international has been offered to the Premier League trio, and Bayern are charging around £25m for his services.
He joined Bayern in 2022 on a free from Ajax, but intermediaries are now offering him to clubs around Europe and Saudi Arabia, with Spurs, West Ham and Man United all said to be shopping for right-backs.
Spurs Web Opinion:
Tottenham do need a backup right-back for Pedro Porro this season, but there are still plenty of things that need to happen before they even think about signing anyone.
One, Emerson Royal needs to be sold. Two, Postecoglou needs to decide whether Djed Spence is worthy of a chance in the squad this season.
