Crystal Palace have not yet agreed a contract with winger Ismaila Sarr and need to thrash out two or three points.
The Eagles are trying to snap up Sarr from French side Marseille to fill the void left by the exit of Michael Olise to Bayern Munich.
It has been suggested they have a contractual agreement in place with Sarr to move to Selhurst Park.
That though is wide of the mark as, according to French outlet Foot Mercato, there is no agreement on a contract yet.
Two or three points still need to be agreed before the contract is approved by both parties.
Sarr, 26, has experience of the Premier League with 50 appearances in the division to his name and Crystal Palace will hope if he comes he can hit the ground running.
The winger turned out 23 times in Ligue 1 for Marseille last term, scoring three times and providing four assists.
He is suggested to be keen to return to the Premier League with Crystal Palace and the Eagles will hope to get the deal done.
