Andy Murray has announced his retirement.
The 37-year-old tennis player will play his “last ever tennis tournament” at the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics, which begin this week.
Andy announced the news in a very understated way, casually dropping the news while posting on Instagram about arriving in Paris.

“Arrived in Paris for my last ever tennis tournament, @Olympics. Competing for ???????? have been by far the most memorable weeks of my career and I’m extremely proud to get do it one final time!” Andy wrote in the post.
Throughout his nearly 20-year career in the sport, Andy has won three Grand Slam tournaments – the U.S. Open in 2012 and Wimbledon in 2013 and 2016. He also won the gold medal at both the 2012 and 2016 Olympics.
