SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- New York State Parks announced on Monday that an owl was rescued at Saratoga Spa State Park. A crew found the owl in a pool of standing water inside a vehicle maintenance garage.
State Parks natural resources staff say the bird's feathers were likely waterlogged after heavy rainfall. Officials say the owl was nursed back to health by a wildlife rehabilitator. The bird has since fully recovered and was returned to the wild.
