Tottenham Hotspur have a few areas they need and want to improve on this summer, with a wide attacker being high on the list. Could the answer to their problem lie at Manchester United?
According to Jamie O’Hara, Spurs could get the best out of Marcus Rashford, and they should look to save the England forward from his troubles at Old Trafford.
He told talkSPORT: “I’ve got a soft spot for Rashford. I don’t know why because watching him last season frustrated the hell out of me. When he’s walking around at Luton and you’re thinking come on mate give me more, but he’s got star quality.
“He’s got the X-factor and if you get a manager who gets the best out of him you’re going to get a top player… He doesn’t get on with Erik ten Hag, that’s a problem that they’ve got to solve.”
On what Rashford could give the Lilywhites, O’Hara added: “He makes brilliant runs, but never gets the ball. Would you pay £80m for him? Yes I would, I would love to see him at Tottenham.”
This is not the first time Rashford has been mentioned as a possible Spurs signing. The Telegraph previously suggested Tottenham may look at Rashford as a potential replacement for Richarlison if the Brazilian were to leave the club.
Former footballer, Stan Collymore, has also cited Tottenham as a good destination for Rashford, as he believes Ange Postecoglou could get the best out of the 26-year-old (Caught Offside).

On his day, Rashford can be an absolutely world-class player and one of the most dangerous attackers in the Premier League.
Like O’Hara, though, I have seen enough United games where Rashford is walking around instead of pressing with his team, and I don’t see Ange wanting that kind of poor effort in his squad.
