I left a soulless newbuild to live in a caravan with 2 kids -I was sick of moaning neighbours, now I’m mortgage free
A MUM has revealed that she and her partner ditched their “soulless” newbuild house to live full time in a caravan with their two children.
Emily Baddeley-White said that she and her family made the decision to up sticks and move into a caravan, as the estate they lived on was “devoid of any personality”.
Taking to TikTok, she said: “It just wasn’t the life for us.
“God forbid if the kids were out playing, the Facebook group would be going wild”.
Because they live in a caravan, Emily and her partner don’t have to pay rent or a mortgage, so have more disposable income.
They both work online as content creators, with Emily also making money as an online spiritual coach, and their children are home-schooled.
The family live nomadically, and are constantly travelling the world in their caravan.
Emily said that it is her aim to see as much of the world as possible, adding that she loves that she can take her home with her wherever she goes.
She said: “Travelling in a caravan as a family is the best way to travel.
“Your home is constantly with you, so you can maintain a sense of normality and routine, and you’re comfortable in your home”.
She added that her family have seen so many amazing things whilst they have been travelling, and start every morning waking up to incredible views.
Emily said that parents are told they have to be sensible and settle down when raising their children, but added that she does not believe in this way of life.
The TikTok video, which was posted under the username @thenomadicdream, has like left many people impressed, as it has racked up over 136,000 views on the video sharing platform.
